You're suggesting using two different Linux distributions to run a VM, which seems impractical given the constraints of having only one computer. It sounds like you're trying to push a high-end use case that won't work without a second machine. The idea of rebooting isn't feasible for most users, especially not for a large group.

This assumption is based on running the OS independently without needing deep interaction. The scheduler and bootloader must handle tasks flexibly.

Your client has limited funds and can't afford two computers running both macOS and Windows. They're trying a high-end task that isn't profitable, and the hardware is too costly for business use. The reset button won't work because the machines aren't compatible, and they can't even adjust the settings easily. Your client doesn’t have access to basic Amazon KVM solutions.
