Hello, I recently chose to overclock my GPU GT 1030 OC Edition to achieve 60 frames in a game. Since this was my first attempt at overclocking, I have several questions.

1: Using this setup (related to the picture) in Aorus Engine, then clicking Apply and starting the game, is there anything incorrect with this configuration? Should I adjust the core voltage?
2: After applying the settings in Aorus Engine and launching a game, sometimes the screen goes black or the game crashes—only on the first run. If I open the game again, everything works fine and overclocking takes effect. Is this typical?
3: When the GPU is under full load, it reaches temperatures between 69-74 degrees (overclocked). Interestingly, it gets hot even when not overclocked. Does this affect its lifespan?
4: After finishing a game, I switch back to my default profile in Aorus Engine, click Apply, and close the program. Should I always do this to reset the GPU to normal settings, or is it okay to just close and restart?

Thank you for your help on previous posts. This is the first PC I built, and I want to avoid any damage. I appreciate your support.

Did you progress through that process, or was it a copied profile?
Yes. Particularly when the overclock isn't stable. I'm not entirely confident about this, but after the crash, the overclock settings were automatically reset to the default, which is why it functions properly the next time.
Thanks to a feature named Gpu Boost, the card can increase its speed or boost itself as long as it stays within a certain temperature range—around 84°C, probably.
You can simply close it... unless you've turned on an option that activates overclocking at startup—don't do that.
You're not likely to cause permanent damage. The makers set strict limits on voltage and temperature for these cards. There are only a few ways to permanently harm it.
