It loses frames easily. I wouldn't set it up for recording. (With a Seagate Barracuda offering 170GB free on a 3TB drive, higher settings work in OBS well, but shadowplay fails and drops to just 1-2fps quickly)

When I have access to Quicksync or additional threads, OBS performs better. If you don’t, sticking with OBS is preferable unless you have extra resources for encoding.

I maintain the manual recording mode. The shadow capture indicated a slight decrease in frames per second, which wasn’t a major concern.
