Hello everyone, I've noticed some unusual frame time spikes across all games. CPU and GPU tend to spike together around the same moment. Current stats: CPU 5900, GPU 3080 (stock), 32GB RAM, 3600cl16 PSU, and no background processes except the intelligent standby list cleaner. GPU drivers are up to date. The first image uses XMP at 1.4V, curve optimizer set to -25, GPU in PCIe 4. The second image skips XMP, curve optimization, and uses PCIe 3. There were WHEA logger errors, but raising RAM voltage resolved them. No event viewer data matches these spikes—similar issues appear in Warzone and BlackOps too. Need assistance.

Are there any overheating problems? If parts get too hot, their performance might drop to prevent damage. Make sure to monitor the CPU and GPU temperatures during idle time and while playing games.

Conditions are acceptable with a temperature limit of 78°C on the GPU and 65°C on the CPU.

You adjust the game's configurations. If using maximum settings, reduce or turn off some options to check for improved frame rate.

I've faced similar problems before with games such as COD MW, Valorant and Apex Legends. Adjusting the settings helps for me, though I still experience some FPS spikes that are either mild or rare.

It seems 3080 can handle ultra at 1440p without performance issues, but it experiences random CPU spikes reaching 100%. Cleaning up the system didn't help.

It makes sense because it's the highest-end RTX 3000 model. NVIDIA doesn't rank the RTX 3090 as a top spec since it's more similar to the Titan RTX lineup.

Support is in but irregular spikes between 240 and 10 aren't typical. Also, WHEA-LOGGER problems are resurfacing.
