Noticing the humming sound from your power supply suggests it might be failing soon, especially since your computer only started up once. To check it properly, you can use a paper clip to test the unit. This method might seem simple, but Corsair provides detailed instructions here: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articl...upply-Unit. Alternatively, try connecting the power supply to another computer with a similar setup, such as an older machine with the same configuration.

It seems like a faulty CMOS chip might be the cause, requiring repeated motherboard resets. A PSU could also be the issue, though those are likely reliable. You might have been unlucky with the initial setup.

If it doesn’t work, consider inserting a fork into a power outlet or taking a bath with your toaster. /s Thanks for the advice and I’ll see how it turns out. Sorry for the delayed reply, but I’ll update you once I know the result.

Check if CMOS is present on the motherboard. It might point to a power supply issue.

If you're in the BIOS, it seems like a BIOS problem rather than a Windows issue—consider installing Windows instead.
