Hello. My girlfriend got an affordable laptop for her trip. It's a Dell Vostro 3550 with an i7 processor, 8GB RAM, and Radeon graphics. The AMD driver is installed automatically, and the graphics card appears in the device manager, though I can't verify it elsewhere. After updating the system, I faced issues—many applications and games crash when opening. For instance, Legends of Runeterra or Photoshop won't start at all. League of Legends fails to load past the champion selection screen. I'm using this laptop with the battery removed, connected only via adapter since the battery is dead. I don't think it should impact anything, but I wanted to mention it. I can't find a solution to force apps to launch with dedicated graphics, which are both energy-saving and high-performance modes (Intel HD Graphics 3000). Even though both games should work with this integrated graphics, they still crash (I own a Fujitsu S792 with similar specs that runs fine even without the battery or on adapter). Anyone has any suggestions? I don't think it's related to the battery assignment, but I'm not sure. I hope this is the right forum to ask.
