You're experiencing two problems with your Aorus Elite AX B650. First, the system runs smoothly but the CPU status indicator stays lit without any performance issues. You've done everything possible to fix it. Second, the motherboard RGB lights are always on, even though you've disabled them in BIOS. This could indicate a hardware or software conflict. Let me know if you need further guidance.

Former can be an annoyance occasionally, but it does occur on some boards. I don’t believe it’s a major problem, but re-seating the CPU and ensuring it makes even contact with the socket might help. Let’s tackle #2 though—OpenRGB supports all RGBFusion systems and should assist you in creating a disabled profile for all the RGB components on your board.

I'm sorry to see you're facing these same problems with the same motherboard. After trying various solutions for eight hours, I haven't found a stable setup where the CPU status light stays on and the RGB LEDs work. Despite using updated BIOS versions, fresh Windows installs, and drivers, nothing seems to resolve the issue. I've used tools like Gigabyte Control Center, Fusion 2.0, and OpenRGB, but they didn't help with the Gigabyte Fusion or ARGB headers. If anyone has had success, please share their approach. I'm considering returning the parts if this doesn't work. Thanks!

@wesleypeter09 I was going to suggest openrgb but since it sounds like you already tried that... there's also signalrgb. The only thing I dont like about it is... its a resource hog. Oh I also just remembered there's an option in the bios for rgb... basically just turning it on or off, I have an auros board too. Can't remember exactly what its called but LED is in the name. Check in favourites, or maybe miscellaneous.

I'll examine the BIOS settings once more for RGB options—it's locked on purple and no software or controller is reacting. I'll also check singlargb. The biggest puzzle is the 'Status LED' staying on for the CPU. The board can run this processor, but its current BIOS version, drivers, etc., aren't aligning. Thanks!
