TL;DR: The main point is choosing between WiFi and a Powerline adapter now. Since running a wire through walls and door frames isn’t feasible due to space and rental restrictions, I’m weighing options. I’ve used a basic Powerline kit before—it didn’t perform well, with noticeable jitter and slow speeds even when fiber was available. Right now, I’m unsure which is better; I’m considering a strong Wi-Fi 6 AP for my PC or a high-end Powerline solution. Also, being in the EU might affect compatibility.

Powerline performance varies widely, relying heavily on wall wiring. The signal often works through breakers boxes but fails elsewhere, making it an uncertain option.

Typically, a strong Wi-Fi connection beats power line setups. Keep in mind that Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 operate on the 6GHz frequency and struggle to pass through walls. You might not achieve a solid signal if there are thick barriers between your device and access points.

WiFi 7 paired with MLO can simultaneously use 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, offering a more reliable connection compared to previous standards.
