This morning I started my computer and noticed it wasn’t showing any screen. I checked my local store where I bought a new motherboard and CPU, but the old one wasn’t working with the new parts. I installed the Asus Prime B660-Plus D4 and 12th gen Intel i5-12400F, connected everything properly, but whenever I try to boot, the fans spin for about four seconds before stopping and then keep looping. I’m not sure what’s wrong—my RAM seems fine. (The power supply also failed.)
It might be the GPU; consider removing it if possible. RAM issues could also arise—test with different slots and use just one stick at a time. Anything else?
I've been attempting to launch it without the GPU and have been using just one RAM stick at a time.
The model is 12400f and lacks a built-in GPU. The 'f' indicates it doesn't include an integrated graphics solution.
We confirmed the GPU's functionality through systematic testing and diagnostic checks.
The board doesn't show any error LED. It looks like you're testing without proper input.
