Settings on Windows 10 shows wrong storage information.
I recently increased my laptop’s storage from about 256GB to around 500GB. Now, the Storage area in Windows Settings shows more than 900GB, while File Explorer accurately reflects the actual capacity. Windows says I have 500GB of system files, which seems odd. This issue isn’t huge, but it’s quite bothersome. Do you know any way to resolve it?
Disable the storage sense feature, then power on the machine and check if it operates with the correct capacity. Additionally, execute a disk cleanup and examine for any items you might want to delete.
