Hey everyone, I adjusted my CPU voltage settings and got different readings from various tools. Ryzen Master displayed voltages around 1.47, while CPU-Z showed much lower values between 1.24 and 1.29V during benchmarks. The temperatures in Ryzen Master also spiked to 71°C, which is higher than the actual hardware readings of 62°C. It looks like Ryzen Master might be showing default or stock settings instead of the BIOS adjustments you made. I’m not sure which data to trust—maybe double-check your BIOS settings or try a clean boot.

3rd gen Ryzen handles high voltage for single tasks and lower voltage for multiple cores. Ensure clear CMOS settings and reset the BIOS accordingly.

Thanks for the guidance, so I completed the BIOS update and confirmed it’s current. However, the same problem persists. All other third-party applications are interpreting the voltages according to what I configured in BIOS, but once I switch to Ryzen Master, the settings change and it still displays 1.476 for my CPU core voltage. Is Ryzen Master just having a bug?

HWinfo reads the core voltage value from the SVI2 register.

It likely reached that high voltage in just a few milliseconds, fast enough for Ryzen Master and HWinfo to detect, but not long enough for other 15ms cycle software to observe.

Is there truly no chance for the voltage on this setup to drop below 1.3? Even with a modest fan curve, there would be moments when the fans increase to 60% or more and then decrease again. I’m not sure if I’m being too detailed, but I really want my PC to run quietly and coolly during idle or light use. When it comes to work, that’s not as important for me.

Consider testing negative voltage offset. It's unclear if other modes such as adaptive are available.
