Jedi FO lets you choose FPS settings such as 30, 45, or 60. Setting a consistent frame rate like 45 might improve stability. Using a SATA HD for Steam games works well, and switching to an SSD could reduce lag rather than cause it.

SSD only speeds up loading times. It doesn’t fix the real rendering problems like frame rate drops or stuttering. Lag is usually about network issues, even though it’s often used for general PC game problems.
