Hello! Your setup with an Alienware Steam Machine running Windows 10 is interesting. The benchmark results show it maintained 60fps, which suggests the hardware is capable. However, the post-test analysis seems to focus on GPU equivalence rather than actual performance. It might be worth checking if the test accounts for real-world usage or if there are other factors affecting the results.

I don't believe that's the case, perhaps adjusting the game's settings to change the performance to 90fps would help.

You can locate those settings in the official SteamVR Performance test, which includes scenes from Aperture Labs/Robot Repair. The information was updated on May 14, 2016 by Rofl47.

I haven't run it for a while, but the results page will indicate the quality level. With my 980ti it reaches its maximum at 11, which is the scale range. If I keep my GPU overclocked, it will lower the quality to around 10.8 to maintain around 90fps. I’m unsure what exact quality you’re seeing, but it seems the scaling won’t be sufficient for the 750ti to sustain 90fps. VR is already taxing, so unless you significantly reduce quality, the 750ti likely won’t handle it.

Edit: I can be pretty sure you’re utilizing the full VRAM of the 750ti. At least at higher quality settings it requires about 3.5GB, which could be a problem if it can’t fully fit in VRAM.

It mentioned low-quality performance and that 85% of the frames were under 90. However, it’s unclear why it still achieves 60 fps, which I’m okay with. I’m ready to tell you 'screw it' and switch to an HTC Vive.

Hmm it might mean that 85% of the time during the performance test it was below 90fps. Well there is a big difference between having 60 fps on a monitor and 90 fps on a vive. With 60fps it is VERY likely you will get motion sick while you are using it. I am not going to tell you not to get it but you will very easily notice that there are stutters during it because of the 60fps and also the high possibly that you will be hitting the limit of the 750ti vram limit. When that happens you will get a huge stutter that will be very bad for motion sickness. As for why it is running at 60fps it is probably just what the 750ti can make. If you overclock it or underclock it does it change?

I'll need to set up afterburner, but I'll look into it. Appreciate the tips on dealing with motion sickness.
