Sorry about the simple question—I’m still getting the hang of computer software. You have a Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) on a USB drive. If you want to reformat your PC, you can do that, but it’s best to keep the genuine Windows version for security and support reasons. Spending more for an official copy is usually safer unless you need specific features not available on the free version.

When the setup is on the identical machine, it’s fine to proceed. However, if you intend to swap the motherboard or additional parts, you need to detach your installation key from the present system; you must reach out to Microsoft for assistance with this step.

Absolutely, it attaches to the motherboard, or at least that was the case before. My Windows 8 PRO key indicates compatibility with three devices, though I'm unsure whether this refers to three PCs or the ability to reuse it multiple times.

It seems the GPU won't affect performance, and I'm pretty certain it connects properly with the motherboard.
