With just one drive, the Windows setup should have been installed on C:\, not D:\. If this happened, use the path Windows 7 > 8 > 8.1 to maintain your files.

I understand! My Windows is installed at C:/ but after reinstalling Windows 7 (with Disc), the files don’t seem to disappear from D:/.

You're referring to several partitions rather than individual discs. That's a common point of confusion, since many people assume each drive letter represents a separate drive. Once you install Windows to C:\, the D:\ partition stays intact.
