Setting up Windows 11 or 10 for ARM-based M1 MacBooks.
It seems unlikely to set up Windows 10/11 on MacBooks using the same method as installing it on a device with an ARM processor. The process would likely differ significantly due to hardware and software constraints.
This appears to be an incorrect link. You can try installing a Windows 11 preview for ARM using Parallels Desktop: https://kb.parallels.com/125375
I understand Parallels and the exclusivity agreement. I thought it might stop us from legally installing Windows on ARM devices, but I’m curious if this could be possible without considering the legal side, just focusing on how it might work in practice.
Linux is freely available, allowing changes to be made. If the ARM version of Windows is missing essential drivers, options are limited. It might take some time for a creative solution to emerge.
