I have a dual-boot setup with Windows 7 and 10. The 7 is on the C drive while 10 is on the D drive. Because the Windows 7 security update won’t be available soon, I’m considering moving the existing Windows 10 installation from the D drive to the C drive. I’m worried it might cause corruption and prevent booting. Would a fresh start option in Windows help resolve this issue?

It's difficult to give precise guidance without understanding your goals or system details. You might try a new Windows 10 installation and then use virtual reality for Windows 7, but more context would be useful.
