Consider using VirtualBox. (Allows you to run an operating system within Windows) Unfortunately, VirtualBox isn't compatible with me...

You're already using it in VMware Player, but you'd like to switch it to your main system without replacing Windows 7. This way, you can keep your older games running smoothly.

The only feasible choice is to proceed via Ethernet, though I question if your motherboard can handle that.
