Setting up Windows 10
Setting up Windows 10
You're encountering a common issue when installing Windows on a new PC. The setup asks you to choose where to install, and sometimes the drive selection doesn't appear as expected. Try these steps:
- Ensure your SSD is properly recognized by checking the boot menu after turning it on.
- If the drive isn't showing up, restart the PC and try selecting the correct partition during installation.
- Use the built-in disk management tool (Disk Management) to verify your SSD's status and location.
- If the problem persists, consider using a different USB drive or checking for any driver issues.
Select the boot drive. If it fails, it seems you need to reinstall Windows from the USB. I've installed Windows 10 multiple times without encountering this issue.
It looks like the boot drive wasn't configured properly. Please set it up again and attempt the process once more.
Both storage devices are recognized, I haven’t interacted with the BIOS yet, I’ll attempt to select the SSD as the bootable option.
