Looking for guides on installing full Ubuntu on a USB drive? Any recommendations or videos that walk through the process would be great. I'm just starting out with flashing and need some clear instructions.

To start fresh, simply reboot and choose the live option by clicking "Try Ubuntu" rather than "Install Ubuntu." Keep in mind you'll require ample storage for Ubuntu's larger file size and any personal files you have.

It depends on your setup. A 64 GB USB drive can store your data, but if you restart the system, it will clear all files unless you back up first. Make sure to save your work before rebooting.

Doing it this way would reset everything each time. For a lasting setup: - Build a USB installer normally - Take off all hardware from the computer - Connect the installer and the flash drive you wish to add - Proceed with the installation as usual, placing it on the flash drive. A top-notch storage device is essential; otherwise it will lag severely and likely fail within a year or two based on usage.

Ah yeah, I saw the ubuntu link, that is the wrong link @SorryClaire , luckily Ubuntu's documentation is next level compared to other distros. Here's a useful link from the ubuntu site - https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/create-a-us...1-overview
