Editing: I considered wiping all partitions except the ACER one and then refreshing. Would that expand the drive size? Or would I need to remove every partition and reformat the entire SSD?
When focusing on recovery, it’s unclear why Windows can’t fix itself during startup repair. I’ll keep trying, but if that doesn’t work, reinstalling from a USB might be the best option. After this update didn’t succeed, I’m worried about doing it again.

08-06-2016, 10:31 PM #13You can pick the partitions you wish to remove. Choose the one you want to delete and click the "Delete" option in the installation window you shared. After removing the unwanted partitions, format the main drive and you’ll be able to define its size using the leftover space.

08-11-2016, 07:41 AM #15You must choose NTFS format and MFT. Once confirmed, Windows will handle the rest automatically. Note: It will also prompt about a full format or quick format—select quick format.

Hey there - I'm going to remove the partitions and try it! After editing, I created a fresh partition using the available space, and it automatically made a few recovery partitions. There were 118GiB out of the 119GiB on the main drive, which is good. Thanks for your support – I hope the Windows setup goes smoothly from now on EDIT #2: It took about 10 minutes to wait while getting files ready for installation (15%), which is perfect! I'll keep it here temporarily and give it another shot if needed...
