I would like to keep certain files encrypted on my cell phone and set up an app feature that automatically saves them there. When I choose the "save" option, besides C: and D: etc., there should be an option labeled Pixel7a. I want this process to be smooth with no extra steps required. This should work seamlessly. I rely on my phone for backup data, a thumb drive, and more. Can this be achieved?

When linking the phone to the PC through USB, you need to press the notification the phone gives when connecting it as a drive. However, your app may not recognize the phone as a real drive, which affects the smooth process.
