Hello everyone, I'm currently using a MacBook Air running macOS High Sierra and Windows 10. I recently purchased an external SSD from SanDisk Extreme Portable. I want to set up Manjaro on it and need guidance on installing Linux without disrupting my existing operating systems. Could someone help me with formatting the SSD for Linux and installing Manjaro?

At least, on pure Arch Linux, you can build the partitions manually using this guide: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Par...le_layouts

I installed Linux on an external USB drive using `dd`. Mostly, the setup works similarly on any other drive, except the installation media is the USB stick. You just need to configure the MacBook to boot from that external disk.
