Setting up Ethernet on the upper floor?
In my home, the internet modem needs to be placed downstairs due to the DLS connector in the room. However, I’d like to connect Ethernet directly from upstairs in my room without drilling holes in the ceiling. Any suggestions for quick Ethernet setup above without running cables through the hallway?
I have coax running from bottom to top. It might work. How strong is the powerline interference?
This would be ideal because I'm connecting with a gigabit modem.
