The installation isn't working because the system can't find the drive where elementaryOS is stored. It's currently running from a USB stick instead.

Hey Tim, if you just want to have some fun with Linux, I highly recommend that you install it on an external storage drive or in a Virtual Machine, as it seems that you aren't too experienced. If you want help with that, let me know. On Macs, wrong action with formatting tools can lead into the Mac getting bricked, even when using Apple's own Bootcamp for Windows.
