On a 7800x3d board, the Asus x670-a with g.skill 64gb Intel Xmp 6000/32 was running at 4800, but the GPU wasn’t ready yet. The build was almost complete when I installed Windows 11, updated the BIOS to the latest version, and had to reinstall all network drivers. Booting was slow—started with a 5-10 second orange MOBIUS light, then red, white, and green. Initially, there were 10-20 minute intervals between reboots, which reminded me of RAM issues. After checking temperatures and ensuring everything worked, I reset the CMOS, tried different RAM setups, and power cycling helped stabilize things. The system connected perfectly with the RM1000x. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
They suggested checking the BIOS for updates, as it can assist with EXPO/DOCP/XMP profiles. However, you’ve already done that. Since these are two RAM kits, there might be minor differences, so manually adjusting memory frequency and timings in BIOS could be necessary.
