Just focusing on direct connections, no need to introduce a switch. Hope that works.

Plans often don’t follow expectations, so it might be wise to consider adding a switch for adjustments.

In short, turning a switch on either end of the cable for HDMI over IP usually costs around $500 to $1000. The rest can be handled by a switch; only the converter changing HDMI to RJ-45 needs to be upgraded and will be pricier.

You might connect the HDMI directly to the Ethernet switch and handle other connections through it. Check for any potential conflicts or compatibility issues.
