I own a AMD Athlon X4 860K processor and a GT 510 graphics card with 8GB of memory. Will this configuration be sufficient to operate a Minecraft server?

There shouldn’t be significant problems depending on what you're specifically using. Minecraft server installations (standard versions) are generally straightforward to operate, but difficulties arise when you add numerous modifications or a large number of users.
