Setting up a brand-new Windows version for your grandmother's old computer.
I'm planning to upgrade her old PC with a fresh Windows installation. It has a Pentium from 2009, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive. I need to decide between Windows 7 or Windows 10. I found a link suggesting Windows 7 ISOs on Kinguin, but I'm unsure how to proceed. Additionally, it's worth noting that you can use a Subway gift card to purchase items on Kinguin.
Start by installing the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant on her PC to check compatibility. If it doesn’t work, simply install a 32-bit version of Windows 7 and upgrade to Windows 10 for free if needed. You can also use the Control Panel to switch back to Windows 7 if desired.
Windows 10 is fine, grandma doesn’t mind if it’s a bit less stable.
It looks like it fits all the needs for Windows 10... Plus, it’s perfect for your aunt.
