hi, I have been reading up on the article linked below, that you can use an external drive to install window and had some question, firstly can I eject the drive and plug it back in and still have all my files? lastly, can I partition the drive beforehand? https://9to5mac.com/2017/08/31/how-windo...ive-video/

Partition: yes, eject: yes, since Windows is complaining loudly, why bother? This will run very slowly on Windows.

Impressive setup! You've got the same performance with 400Mac and 100Win, plus a powerful tower PC with lots of storage for advanced gaming. It's great to know you're aware of the changes in boot camp drivers. Are you using MacOS Mojave? That's important since they've made updates to those drivers.
