Setting up a Bitcoin mining rig from scratch. The system powers on, then shuts down completely.
I recently purchased components for a bitcoin mining setup. Motherboard: MSI Z490 A-PRO CPU: Intel Core i3-10100 Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS Plus Gold 1000 W Gold Certified 80+ Certified I checked the manual, connected all cables to the PSU and motherboard, and switched the power on. After roughly three seconds, the fans began spinning. On the motherboard, there are "EZ debugger LEDs." The CPU lights up quickly, then moves directly to RAM, keeping a white light on for five seconds before everything shuts down. PSU, motherboard, and all. I searched this forum but didn’t find any relevant advice. PS: I hadn’t connected the GPU yet. There’s an HDMI cable linked to the monitor, but there’s nothing there—no signal detected. 2: The fans are Arctic P12 PST 56.3 CFM 120 mm fans, five-pack. I inserted three into the system fan slots, one in the "Pump Fan" slot.
Turning the PSU on via the switch should only provide power, not fully activate the board. The case switch initiates the board's startup. Re-energize the board using the case switch and note the outcomes. = Identical? Reinstall the processor. Make sure the cooler mount isn't overly tight.
