Set up your Windows 10 system.
Hey there! You're a 14-year-old from Sweden building your first PC, which is awesome. The i5 7400 and GTX1060 sound like a solid setup. You bought a Windows 10 USB drive, but you're having trouble booting. Try pressing F7 during startup—it might help load the OS. If that doesn't work, double-check your BIOS settings and ensure the correct boot device is selected. Let me know what happens!
@Thephantom03 Reviewed NinJake's reply. He didn't include a tag or quote. For better guidance, knowing your motherboard model and make is more helpful than CPU or GPU details. Consider using the delete key repeatedly. On many boards this will open the BIOS. Look at your notifications section (the small bell icon) to see if anyone answered your question. If you want to let a poster know you've replied, use a tag like I did or enable the quote option so they're informed.
My board is a Z170-A with an i5 7400, GTX 1060, 1TB storage, CryoCool C7 fan, and an S340 chassis.
On Z170-A you hit delete to access Bios. Keep using delete repeatedly while booting. Regarding the Windows 10 USB, where do you get it from? If it isn’t an authentic Microsoft drive, I wouldn’t rely on anything on that storage—there might be hidden software installed.
