Set up your PC to use a UEFI bootable USB drive for installation.
I bought 6750 XT and I'm trying to use its features like smart access memory or resizable BAR. When I open BIOS, I can't activate them until I turn off legacy mode and boot from M.2. I think enabling GPT or UEFI mode is necessary, and I'm unsure if it works with M.2 first. My main question: how do I make a bootable USB using UEFI GPT for a Windows 10 drive? Also, if I have a valid Windows key on my existing M.2 with legacy mode enabled, does turning it to UEFI and formatting the whole drive help activate SAM/Bar? I have a lot of mixed questions, and I've already tried changing the MPR2GPT command line without success. Thanks for your help, I'm still confused.
Use the media creation tool to generate a bootable Windows USB. Restart your system, access the boot menu, choose the USB drive, and select EFI as the boot option. Follow the installation steps normally. Ensure you back up your data beforehand. Remember, you’re not modifying any hardware, so the key should work without problems. If your Microsoft account is linked, activation will occur during setup.
