Set up Windows XP on an Ubuntu 16 installation.
You can install Windows XP inside Ubuntu by using a virtual machine or a live USB setup. Since your CD isn’t appearing in the BIOS, you’ll need to boot into a compatible environment and follow the installation steps there. Let me know if you’d like detailed instructions!
You won't be able to proceed. The system should boot from the Windows XP installation media instead of Ubuntu. Using XP will wipe the drive. Installing XP is unnecessary; you can use Windows 10 in a deactivated state for free, and it supports backward compatibility with most XP applications.
Alternatively, you might use a virtual machine with VirtualBox.
