I need a fresh setup for your gaming system. The motherboard can't boot from USB, and the DVD drive isn't working. I used WinToUSB to move Windows 10 Home onto an HDD, but it only supports Home edition. I'm looking for other options or ways to install Windows 10 outside this rig, like pre-installing on a separate hard drive.

You should be able to install Windows 10 beforehand, or simply add an extra optical drive to the exterior of the case for operation.

You need to set up a separate installation environment for Windows 10 outside your current system. This way you can download and install it without affecting your existing setup.

Switch the Windows key to a Pro version effortlessly. Alternatively, deploy on another system without installing drivers—simply transfer the HDD.

It seems like the system feels very outdated, and UEFI might not be compatible with Windows properly on today's hardware.

It was certain, I hadn't considered the possibility of not being able to UEFI...

You could set up Windows 10 on a different machine and avoid booting from the HDD.

Insert the SSD into place and remove or disconnect every other one prior to the main installation. This ensures a clean setup with just the desired drive connected.

Changed the activation key on several devices at work, using Windows Home instead of Pro. This was done with the same key on multiple machines.
