You’re asking about setting up Ubuntu properly. Since you already have it installed on your drive, you’ll need drivers and tools to complete the installation. Some devices require Linux support, while others may use Windows installers. Make sure you download the appropriate media or setup files for your hardware, follow the instructions carefully, and check compatibility before proceeding.

Typically, when setting up Ubuntu, you simply launch the installer and finish the process. You generally don’t have to add any drivers. Windows installers won’t function on Ubuntu since it’s based on Linux rather than Windows. Similarly, you can’t run a gasoline car on diesel, or vice versa.

It's actually quite simple. You wouldn't need to install anything similar to a graphics card if you had one.

Your hardware needs Ubuntu support, either through open-source or proprietary drivers. For instance, the latest Skylake chips are poorly supported without a recent Linux kernel. You can adjust the additional drivers in your settings to select the ones you prefer. You're also able to build drivers from scratch, though it's quite challenging. However, everything should function properly once Ubuntu sets up all the drivers correctly.

It's actually quite simple, unless you're setting it up on unusual devices like cash registers, everything should work fine.

Some devices require drivers, like my laptop that can't connect to Wi-Fi. Updating drivers is essential. You'll need graphics and other driver updates, which are usually available in settings under drivers updates. Good luck with your Linux setup!
