Hey there, I just got my PC components and noticed the boot drive is showing up sooner than expected. I plan to install the OS—Win 7 64bit Premium—on my laptop first, then add the SSD once everything is assembled. Shouldn’t that work? My laptop and upcoming PC are both 64-bit compatible.

It won't function unless you make some changes to the Windows installation, which isn't a good idea.
