I'm upgrading the PSU and GPU in my brothers PC. I ran display driver uninstaller before trying to install the new GPU and PSU. We also RMAd the power supply once and now it seems to work fine but now I'm just not getting any display output. Specs are Corsair RM850e Power supply, ASROCK B450M-HDV r4.0, RTX 3080 (new GPU that I installed)(RX 6600 is old GPU), Ryzen 5700X3D. Ive tried reseating the ram and resetting the CMOS so now im just out of ideas. my brother got the GPU off facebook marketplace for $300 and it seemed like a good deal but now my only idea is that it may have been to good to be true and the GPU maybe damaged or defective. The fans spin and it seems that its working but like i already said, It has no video output. so i tried to reinstall the RX 6600 to see if i can narrow it down to the GPU being dead but now i just dont get a video output from either. any ideas? (ive also tried it on two different monitors) EDIT: Another thing I would like to add, the CPU power cable is an 8 pin and the plug on the motherboard is a 4 pin. do I need to buy an 8 pin to 4 pin CPU power cable adapter?

I don't have a power supply unit. Could you clarify what you're asking about?

The GPU power port appears as a small, rectangular connector located on the back or side of the device.

I've used both the 12-pin power cable included with the PSU and the 12-pin adapter.
