This is my very first build, so there's a decent chance that I've just done something wrong along the way, so I'm going to try and give as much detail as I can. I've been building this computer slowly over the last 2 months, and I was able to boot up and run everything (even some games) with the integrated graphics of my 12600K while I was waiting to get a graphics card. I'm running Windows 11 64-bit. I installed my new ASRock RX 6600 yesterday, and while it is still able to boot up and start some games, it tends to crash to desktop at random times, sometimes while booting up games and sometimes in the middle of them. I can't ever replicate it the same way twice in a row. I rotated through 4 games yesterday for about 8 hours on various settings while trying to troubleshoot: Warzone, Fortnite, God of War, and modded Minecraft ( Error Log ). Sometimes games would run perfectly fine at higher settings, other times it wouldn't even boot. So far, I've tried: DDU (in safe mode) clean wipe of all drivers that might have previously been installed. I did this a few times followed by a fresh install of the latest AMD driver (22.11.2), just to ensure nothing was missed. I've tried replacing the power cable to my GPU. It's currently using a 6+2 pin PCIe cord that came with my PSU (full specs below). I've tried rolling back my drivers, but more current games won't even run with older drivers (like Warzone), but I could try this again if there is a known problem with the current one. I've updated my BIOS (Asus Tuf Z690-Plus Wifi version 2204) I've run all Windows Updates Full specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rHBsFg (My RAM is actually 16x4 but that option wasn't on this site) If there's any logs or anything I can provide, I'm happy to do so, but again I'm a bit new and might need some help to walk through it. The provided list doesn’t indicate the power supply you’re using. Consider tools like Bluescreenview to identify crashes during a blue screen.

You're worried about the response since it didn't appear in the PC component selector... which power supply are you using right now?

Interesting, this item isn't displaying as expected. The link points to a Newegg product page for Super Flower Leadex LED strip.

You purchased it new or used? It seems the over-current protection is activating to protect your PC. Are there issues with your power supply? Do your room lights flicker? Have you switched to a different outlet?

I purchased it brand new. I haven’t checked another store, but I’m willing to try this one. The lights in my apartment sometimes flicker, which is fine.

Make sure to give your power supply a good pat for excellent performance.

I believe the issue should stem from a quality power supply unit. The only part in my system that seems prone to problems is the RAM. If possible, replace the memory with another type and see if crashes occur without the "Neo Forza" installation. Also, test the setup without a surge protector connected directly to the wall outlet, or use a different outlet altogether. Generally, if the problem relates to power, the computer should shut down normally or restart cleanly; persistent freezing or incomplete shutdowns suggest other factors like drivers or GPU/RAM issues.

Outlets didn’t seem to make a difference. The RAM behavior was curious. I enabled the X.M.P. profile on my motherboard to show 3600 speed, but turning it off didn’t change the outcome. Since I don’t have any other RAM, is there a way to check if this issue exists before purchasing more?

You can execute memtest86 or the built-in Windows Memory Diagnostic (search for it in the start menu). These tools will indicate any problems. The most reliable approach is to use a completely different setup.
