I've set up several machines recently, and one recurring frustration is having to log in for each person when installing Windows, updating drivers, or running basic software like GeForce. After the setup, they don’t get to personalize their machine or boot it fresh. Is there a way to install programs and drivers ahead of time, then reset the system to create a clean account? Not critical, but curious how manufacturers handle this.

Search for Windows OOB setup. It will guide you through opening Windows and installing drivers or apps directly without needing an account.

They incorporate it directly into the image file for windows, allowing their recovery media to also fix any removed "bloatware." Windows 10 handles changes to account or PC names more leniently compared to previous versions.

Well then, I seem to be a bit awkward there.

It wasn't easy to discover it at first because it wasn't heavily promoted. Still, it looks great—adding all the drivers makes it even more impressive when you're ready to deliver.

Check your search engine again, it might not have enough info.

That's great! I'll check it later once your current build is resolved.

I just looked up "install drivers windows 10 without creating account" but I’m not sure when I found it. It’s not the top result, so you might have missed it if you weren’t paying close attention. The link you shared points to a Microsoft TechNet article from 2015 that seems relevant.

Can you remove the account you previously created and revert to this approach, or should I begin from here?

I believe restarting into OOB would let you install drivers and remove the user account, though I'm not certain since I haven't done it before.
