Located a thread similar but it's been over three years now. It seems unresolved and cuts off suddenly. Creating this post as advised when referencing the previous discussion. My goal is to set up port forwarding on the Airtel router Sercomm (model AOT-4221SR). As mentioned before, I believe there might be ISP restrictions, so I want to check if it's feasible and find a way to do it, thanks in advance for any assistance.

Unless you're running the server locally, forwarding data usually isn't necessary. If possible, ask a friend to help. First, verify your router's external IP falls within the range 100.64.0.0 to 100.127.255.255. This confirms your ISP uses cgNAT, which blocks port forwarding. Even without that, certain ports might be blocked. A good approach is to launch a server (ideally the game), configure port forwarding to that machine's IP and port, then test connectivity using tools like https://dnschecker.org/port-scanner.php with your external IP and port.

Consider accessing your router's admin panel, then test a known open port on your device using a tool like the one from YouGetSignal.
