It's more than a language—apt is simply a tool you can invoke with various parameters. Bash does possess a scripting style, though it remains relatively simple and you rarely rely on it for basic command execution.

All my USB Wi-Fi adapters come with plug-and-play functionality. I haven’t encountered any that fail to work, though a few seem to behave less reliably on Linux compared to Windows.

You experienced a lot of trouble with that Realtek Wi-Fi adapter, as it’s one of the rare models causing problems on Linux due to missing drivers.
