I kept working through the problem for hours without success. I created a virtual machine, installed the necessary tools, and opened Kali Linux in full screen. The main issue is that the display doesn’t support a 16:9 aspect ratio. Please help me fix this so I can get a resolution of 1920x1080.

Operating system? I'll check Hyper-V first, then Debian. It's basically Kali Linux without all the built-in software.

Use xrandr with the desired resolution and settings to switch modes. Add a virtual display using the specified mode and parameters.
