I’m placing it on the USB drive for easy transfer to my laptop. After reinstalling it on my PC, it should stay in the same location so I won’t have to recreate the shortcuts.
Take the GTA V directory to your USB storage (move it if needed).
Remove GTA V from your C drive, then reinstall it but place it on the USB.
RGSC will always install on your C drive—adjusting the path is not possible.
Open GTA V, sign in to RGSC, and let it begin downloading the game (note it will update RGSC first).
Halt the download by closing the launcher.
Transfer your current GTA V folder onto the newly created USB copy.
Launch the launcher; it will check for existing files and start the launch.
