I wasn't sure either; I considered trying it but heard from everyone it's a bad idea since it might damage things.

Well, in this situation I won’t attempt it. I’ve had trouble with a VM because it thinks my CPU is 32-bit even though I’m using a 64-bit installer. When I run the 32-bit version, it throws an error and fails to start. Apparently this is linked to disabling hyperv or something similar. In the Windows features menu it’s blank, so I can’t turn it off to use the 64-bit edition. I just want to try Windows 10 but nothing works. Ugh.

That's right, I remember checking the BIOS settings and finding a hyper V option earlier.

Yup, there is a option on there, if you have a button next to power you can turn it off and press that or spam F1 on boot

The "Novo" option is available. It works well in a pinch. Prevented a total system crash when I misconfigured the hard drive.
