Hi, I see you're looking for a way to ensure your home server automatically restarts after a crash. Since you're using Windows 10 and need to handle forced shutdowns, you might want to explore advanced settings or third-party tools that support automatic recovery. Check if your remote access app has built-in safeguards or if you can configure a power management feature to trigger a restart. Also, consider setting up a backup or manual restart routine in case of unexpected failures.

It seems the device is experiencing frequent crashes. It appears to halt immediately but may display an error message. A simple solution could involve enabling auto power-on and using a remote control switch.

In Bios somewhere under power management you should find something called power state after loss of power .. and you can set it to off, or original.. or something similar.. if you use original it should start if it was on, or keep power off if it was already off. last option should be on.. if it have 3 options.

They seem like typical crashes, not very frequent. My computer runs nonstop, so I can’t see the warning messages. I’m only able to check remotely, and there’s no monitor connected to it.

This will restart the PC when it freezes in Windows. The crash appears to bypass the automatic recovery feature.

Not exactly... you require a motherboard with a built-in watchdog timer in the BIOS to achieve this. That's what a server-grade board provides.

You might deploy your server inside a hypervisor that's much more stable, allowing you to monitor its status and control the console from afar. However, if the issue is hardware-related, you'll need a dedicated watchdog tool and custom scripts to resolve it.

To manually activate the button, obtain a Switchbot that lets you control the app from a distance.
