You can definitely run Pi-hole and a VPN on the same Raspberry Pi. Most guides focus on pairing them together, but it's possible to set up both independently. Just make sure your setup matches your needs and you have enough resources. Good luck!

I don't know what 0 means, but I use pi-hole and a VPN on my 3B+ device.

It relies on your internet speed. The Pi Zero doesn't offer true gigabit speeds, so pushing too hard might not be ideal. For handling both tasks, I'd recommend a Pi 4 with 1GB RAM. It provides true gigabit connectivity and a more powerful processor.
