So, here is my story. I built a budget pc a couple years ago to play some very basic games, since i didnt have money for a gpu, and everything was fine. Even managed to run gta5 on low settings with 30fps with almost no problems. Back then i was 14 and as i said didnt have money for a gpu but now i do so i decided to buy a mid-end gpu with a better power supply so i didnt have any problems. But, as it turns out things didnt work out so well. From day 1 this pc felt like it was running worse than before, for example the only way i ran gta 5 was at lowest settings at 720p with 15fps and only for 2 minutes before it crashed. My initial thought was that i had done something wrong. I tried re installing drivers, tried DDU, disabling internal graphics from bios but nothing works. I have ran so many benchmarks and everyone on the internet seems to get more out of that upgrade than i do. Diagnostics say that the gpu is just fine, its not. I dont think its a bad graphics card, also i may have another clue as to what is going on, i can no longer use the bios, when i enter it if i try to click anything it freezes and i couldnt find any connection between installing a new gpu and it affecting the bios. So maybe its a bad motherboard? I have tried everything, im desperate. Here are my full pc specs this forum is my last hope. Cpu: amd ryzen 3 3200g Motherboard: msi b450m Gpu: Radeon rx560 4gb(biostar ver.) Ram: 2x4gb hyperx 3200mhz Psu: cooler master elite v3 600w Thank you all in advance.

Yes, you linked the screen to the GPU.

If none of the parts are damaged, a straightforward fix is likely. Could you send a photo of your system with the side panel open? Just to confirm if the PSU cables are connected correctly. A RX 560 usually handles this well, though it's always good to verify.

It's a 560, not 580. The power comes straight from the motherboard through the PCI socket.

Did you check if the latest drivers were applied?

Sure, I can attempt to run the process on another system.

I also gave it a shot, even the newer one didn't work. @SavageNeo

Your motherboard seems to have just one PCIe port. If that’s the case, test the other slot and observe the performance. If it only has one, consider trying the GPU on another system to check its condition. You might be able to find a replacement board at a low cost, but we first need to confirm whether the issue lies with the GPU.
