I recently purchased a new laptop online and needed Windows for it to work properly. I’m planning a clean install of Windows 10 Pro, which is something I’ve done before on desktops but not much on laptops. I’m concerned about losing the touchpad, keyboard, or display functionality. Are these worries justified or am I overreacting?

You seem overly cautious, but Windows comes with drivers for most devices except the display, which changes once installed.

Same as the desktop setup, just install and add drivers, you're all set.
