I've been working hard on the upcoming project. My machine is running out of steam. I'm looking for a replacement to handle Dolphin/PCSX2 with at least double anti-aliasing. I'll stick to 1080p and won't need top-tier performance since I won't be playing the latest titles. This is the setup I've been planning. Processor: i5 4690K Graphics: GTX 750Ti/R7 370 MOBO: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition RAM: 2x4 GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 Storage: 2x OCZ Trion 240 GB/ WD Black 2 TB Power Supply: Corsair CS550M If anyone has tips or experience with Dolphin's best hardware, I'd really appreciate it.

I don’t understand what a dolphin is, but the design seems appealing.

4690K is too much for a 750 Ti or a 370, opt for a better GPU instead.

OP plans to run emulation. The CPU will face heavy workloads, while the GPU will see moderate use. For OP's setup, the choice of CPU is excellent due to its high IPC and clock speed, offering flexibility if needed. In a standard gaming configuration, this setup would likely be unbalanced.

Choose a less powerful CPU model for better performance.

The project appears suitable for emulation. Ensure proper cooling for the CPU, as it will face significant stress during emulation.

You're right, a good non-stock cooler will handle the job. Excess cooling isn't bad—overclocking already makes a clear impact for emulation, and an AIO water cooler could be worth considering down the line if you plan to upgrade.

Thank you! Considering the AIO water cooler could be a good option later.
